When little country cricket Chester mistakenly travels by picnic basket to New York City, his music is transformed forever. The world premiere retelling of George Selden's Newbery Honor book is composed and adapted by Chris Brubeck. -
NSO Teddy Bear Concert: Violins, and Trombones, and Bears, Oh, My!

We can be as different as trombones and violins, and still play together in harmony! Kids and stuffed animals alike will hear the unique sounds of a garden hose, funnel horn, a grownup violin and a baby one, and trombones in three sizes! Ages 3-5. -
NSO Kinderkonzert: Peter & the Wolf

Those wonderful wind instruments give voice to a little boy named Peter and a wolf on the prowl in Prokofiev's beloved musical tale. Age 4+
