VSA wishes to acknowledge the achievements of the award recipients of past Playwright Discovery Awards and Playwright Discovery Teacher Awards.

Students chosen as Playwright Discovery Award recipients received monetary awards, and a trip to Washington D.C. to view the production at The John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts.

Teachers chosen as Playwright Discovery Teacher Award recipients received national recognition, funds to purchase playwriting resources for the classroom, and a trip to Washington D.C. to be honored at the Kennedy Center.
