Organizational Snapshot:

VSA arts of Lebanon, also known as Friends of the Disabled Association, was founded in 1978 by a group of concerned parents whose children had different disabilities and joined the VSA arts affiliate network in 2007. VSA arts of Lebanon aims to fully integrate children with disabilities into society to empower parents to obtain information, discuss commons concerns, and decide on the best environment for their children. This is achieved through family support groups and counseling designed to promote the active participation of parents in the learning process. Over the past 29 years, VSA arts of Lebanon has played a pioneering role in Lebanon by promoting the need for the education and rehabilitation of children with different abilities. VSA arts of Lebanon helps students reach their full potential through special programs and vocational training, allowing them to play a productive role in the community.
