Kong Ho is an associate professor of art and program director at the University of Pittsburgh at Bradford, Pennsylvania. Born and raised in Hong Kong, Ho holds a master of fine arts degree in painting and drawing from Texas Tech University (1994) and a bachelor’s degree in fine arts from the Chinese University of Hong Kong (1985). Prior to teaching at Pitt–Bradford, Ho also taught at the Hong Kong Baptist University, Western Texas College, and University of Hong Kong. In 1997, Ho founded the Hong Kong Mural Society, a nonprofit art organization promoting mural art in Hong Kong. Ho, who had polio, has participated in more than 80 international and regional exhibitions, including 14 solo exhibitions. His work has been exhibited in the United Nations headquarters in New York City; the U.S. ambassador’s residence in Macedonia; the Clymer Museum and Gallery in Ellensburg, Washington; the Amarillo Museum of Art in Texas; the Fine Arts Museums in New Mexico; the Joseph D. Carrier Art Gallery in Ontario, Canada; the Osaka Prefecture University in Japan; Hong Kong Heritage Museum; Hong Kong Museum of Art; Bangkok Cultural Center in Thailand; and Beijing Art Museum in China.
