Organizational Snapshot:

VSA arts de Argentina provides arts-based education programs for children and youth with various disabilities. Participants take part in sculpture and music workshops, as well as an annual art show, the Art for All Annual Youth Art Exhibit, held in VSA arts de Argentina’s gallery. In addition to providing arts workshops, VSA arts de Argentina offers classes in disability awareness and basic health care. Professional education services are also available including degree programs in special education and kindergarten education, and a scholarship program for special education teachers. Recently, VSA arts de Argentina added an auditorium to their facility. The auditorium hosts theater and dance productions, visual arts exhibitions, as well as concerts. The Information Center and Library, for which VSA arts de Argentina has been designated as a representative of both UNESCO’s Books for All Program and the Organization of American States’ Inter-American Information Program on Family and Childhood, is housed at and administered by VSA arts de Argentina. VSA arts de Argentina joined the VSA affiliate network in 1997.
