Organizational Snapshot:
Artes Muy Especiales Chile was founded as a nonprofit, non-governmental organization in 1995 and is dedicated to promoting and coordinating arts programs for people with disabilities throughout Chile. Artes Muy Especiales Chile works with both adults and children in a variety of arts media and is committed to developing educational programs, including workshops for education professionals to foster more inclusive teaching practices. The organization also sponsors citywide arts festivals and exhibitions and has forged a partnership with the National Foundation for Disability (FONADIS) in 1998 to conduct children's music workshops.
