Organizational Snapshot:

AKIM Israel is dedicated to bringing artistic activities to thousands of children and adults with mental disabilities, who live either at home or at AKIM facilities. AKIM offers programs in both the visual and performing arts. Visual arts activities such as painting, ceramics, and photography are offered through established museum programs. The artwork created during these programs is exhibited, evoking a great sense of achievement for program participants. Performing arts workshops in dance, music, and theater are available to program participants, who also have the opportunity to showcase their talents in arts festivals held in Israel and abroad.
