Organizational Snapshot:

The Philippine Center of VSA arts - VSA arts Philippines provides ongoing programs for students with disabilities, including weekly workshops in theater, dance, creative writing, paper crafts, ceramics, and Saori weaving. The affiliate works with local museums, galleries, and theaters, promoting both cultural and disability awareness. Additionally, VSA arts Pilippines conducts craft and movement activities for children and youth, both with and without disabilities, during extended hospital stays. The affiliate also incorporates an early childhood development and care module into their Start with the Arts program that trains teachers, therapists, caregivers, and parents of children with disabilities. This program compliments weekly teacher training workshops in sign-language, disability awareness, and child care issues.
