Organizational Snapshot:

VSA arts of Portugal is incorporated as part of the LPDM Centro de Recursos Sociais, a nonprofit organization founded in 1956 that promotes the inclusion of people with disabilities and chronic diseases through educational, rehabilitative, and vocational training, in addition to health care, recreational, and arts programs. VSA arts of Portugal is charged with carrying out LPDM's creative arts component and offers a variety of children's art workshops and visual art exhibits at LPDM's Corridor Gallery. Art program offerings include the Street Performers Group and the PLURAL – Integrated Dance Company, which explores a wider concept of movement language to include people with and without disabilities.
